The property has belonged to the Visconti di Modrone family for generations. Originally used as a hunting reserve from the 1800’s, the fortified house was transformed into a farming estate by the Duke and Duchess Marcello and Xenia Visconti di Modrone in the early 20th Century.
It was further improved and lovingly looked after by their daughter, the Marquess Marina D’Oria. Currently managed by Maria Xenia D’Oria, the farm specialises in the production of organic citrus fruits, table grapes, wheat and olive oil.
